SHIP SPARES LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Do you have strong coordination skills, think outside the box and want to develop your career with a leader in global shipping and logistics services? If so, you could be the person we are looking for to join the GAC Marine Logistics team in Piraeus, Greece, as a Ship Spares Logistics Coordinator.

Part of the GAC Group, GAC Marine Logistics offers a total solution package of supply chain management and ship spares logistics services. Our network of warehouses and logistics offices in key locations enables us to provide a reliable and cost-effective service all the way from the supplier’s door to on board vessels.

The Job

If appointed, you will act as a single point of contact for assigned customers and manage their ship spares supply chain. You will be supported in this task by a dedicated PO Handling team and our in-house ERP platform.

Key Responsibilities

•        Prepare and price cost-effective logistics plans based on available deadlines.

•        Liaise directly with local offices to request information and provide instructions.

•        Monitor operations.

•        Invoice completed operations.

•        At least 3 years’ experience in similar positions

•        Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English, both verbally and in writing

•        Proficiency in effectively use Office 365 applications

•        Ability to think and plan ahead

•        Creative thinking and willingness to take initiatives

•        Strong organisational and multitasking skills

•        Team player

•        Adaptability and eagerness to learn

•        Effective communication and customer service skills
