Could you be our new Ship Agent?

·         Location: Hamburg, Germany office.

·         Reporting to: Operations Manager

·         Department / Team: Shipping

·         Employment Type: Full time

·         Travel requirements: Within Germany to German ports

·         Key Tech/Tools: Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft office programms

What would your day at GAC look like?

·         Handling documentation and clearance of ships upon arrival and departure

·         Communication with all involved parties during the ships’ port calls

·         Coordinating services

·         Providing input to improve processes and procedures

·         Performing administrative tasks such as invoicing for services provided

What are we looking for?

1.       Education: Completed training as “Schifffahtskaufmann” or similar work experience

2.       Experience: minimum 3 years as a Ship Agent

3.       Technical Skills: Completed training as “Schifffahrtskaufmann”, Minimum Driver License Level B

4.       Language Skills: Expert in German (written & verbal); Very good English (written and verbal)
