Ship Agent - Bømlo

  • On-site
    • Bergen, Vestland, Norway
  • GAC Norway

Job description

Role: Ship Agent

As we continue to strengthen our shipping operations, GAC Norway is looking for a Ship Agent / Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This position is a temporary replacement for an employee on leave and is expected to last approximately one year. At the same time, as our business continues to develop, there may be opportunities for a permanent position in the future.

This is an opportunity to become part of a strong maritime environment where you will work closely with experienced colleagues, customers, suppliers, port authorities, and teams across the organisation. Based in Bømlo, you will play an important role in supporting vessel operations and ensuring smooth, well-coordinated port calls. The role combines operational planning, hands on coordination, documentation, customer follow-up, and logistics support, giving you the opportunity to contribute to reliable service delivery in a busy and international shipping environment.

Do you like to “think outside the box" or have a disability that has given you additional skills and a unique perspective? Perhaps it's planning the day in detail or a trained approach to evaluating a new challenge. If you feel that you can meet the requirements of the position, YOU are encouraged to apply regardless of age, gender, cultural background, or disability. We value your opinions and knowledge!

We believe in maintaining an environment where all voices are heard – an environment that embraces diversity and respects everyone. Personal qualities are emphasised!
