Shift Supervisor

We want you in our team!

As a Shift Supervisor at GAC in Dubai, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, coordinate shift resources and support the team responsible for safe, accurate and efficient contract logistics activities.

What would your day at GAC look like?

·         Plan daily shift activities, assign team members according to workload and priorities, and brief warehouse teams clearly on their tasks.

·         Manage warehouse staffing schedules and support day-to-day team coordination.

·         Maintain housekeeping standards across the warehouse and keep required operational records up to date.

·         Carry out regular stock checks during the shift.

·         Monitor warehouse facilities, equipment and machinery, and report maintenance issues promptly.

·         Follow GAC’s health, safety, security and environmental procedures to help maintain a safe and compliant workplace.

·         Work with colleagues across the operation to raise concerns, share ideas and improve ways of working.

·         Support productivity and service quality by identifying practical improvements in day-to-day warehouse activities.

What are we looking for?

1.       A university degree; a diploma in logistics or shipping is preferred.

2.       Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Indian subcontinent languages is an advantage.

3.       Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new systems and software.

4.       At least two years of experience in logistics or shipping.
