Senior Shipping Executive

We are seeking a Senior Shipping Executive to join our dynamic Shipping department at GAC Trinidad office. As a Senior Shipping Executive, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the shipping operations for vessels, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services to our clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor shipping activities for assigned vessels.

• Manage shipping schedules and deadlines

• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations

• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize shipping processes

• Resolve any customer requirements, take proactive steps in close coordination with team members.

• Must be currently in Trinidad / in country.

• Minimum 5+ years experience in ship agency business, vessel operational experience, husbandry services is mandatory.

• Professional shipping qualification or degree is preferred.

• Strong people skills & ability deliver proactive steps in a fast faced environment.

• Good knowledge on local terminals, customs, Immigration, procedures is a plus.

• Go getter attitude with strong team work approach to business is mandatory.
