Senior Project Manager

GAC Group IT is looking for candidates for the role of Senior Project Manager to be based in Dubai. Could it be you?

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing multiple projects simultaneously. You will be expected to provide project leadership, manage budgets, schedules, and resources, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions to our clients.

You will also be responsible for leading project teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that exceed our clients' expectations.

• Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional project teams, including IT and business stakeholders, to plan, execute, and deliver IT projects within scope, budget, and timelines.
• Supply Chain Expertise: Use your deep knowledge of contract logistics and supply chain principles to identify opportunities for IT solutions that improve operational efficiency, visibility, and customer satisfaction.
• Vendor Management: Oversee and manage third-party vendors and partners involved in IT project delivery, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and deliver quality solutions.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing any issues that may impact project success, budget, or timeline.
• Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, budget, and technology assets, to achieve project objectives.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and open communication channels with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and issues resolution.
• Technology Proficiency: A strong understanding of IT systems, software, and tools relevant to contract logistics and supply chain management, such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering, supply chain management or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on contract logistics or supply chain management.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects in the logistics or supply chain domain.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
