Are you a skilled, motivated sales professional looking for an exciting new challenge in 2026? You could be the person we’re looking for to join our global team as a Sales Manager – Freight, based in Dubai.
The Job
If appointed, you will be responsible for developing our import air consolidation and key trade lane products in Dubai, as well as increasing commercial activity to develop a strong sustainable client base. Your focus will be on growing volumes and operating income, sourcing cargo commodity to benefit the existing console products, and enhancing G2G trade lanes and partner consolidation service from niche markets. The role contributes towards enhancing our airfreight status in the market, our Group relationships and throughput figures.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue, customer base and volumes, and achieve targets.
Lead the Sales and Customer Service teams through hiring, training, mentoring and motivational initiatives (such as KPI setting and target monitoring, mentorship programmes, support).
Focus on business development by identifying, pursuing and securing new high-value customers, achieving sales targets in terms of revenue and volumes (relevant to all sub-sections of Freight).
Responsible for proper Key Account Management of key stakeholders and/or large complex accounts, ensuring long-lasting business relationships in collaboration with the local management team.
Conduct market and competitor analysis of activities, market developments and industry trends to tweak pricing and strategic focus.
Collaborate with other stakeholders in our Freight Business such as sub-section Line Managers in Freight, as well as external parties, to ensure a customer centric focus on service delivery.
Maintain electronic information GAC Freight database(s) analyzing sales performance metrics, reporting performance and results to internal stakeholders in line with compliance guidelines.
Monitor and upgrade credit limits required by existing and new clients
Participate in marketing and networking opportunities such as attending trade shows, networking events or Freight conferences to generate leads and maintain professional brand visibility.
Job requirements
What we’re looking for
Postgraduate or MBA holder
Diploma in International Transport and Supply Chain Management will be considered an advantage
Expert level of Freight industry knowledge
Excellent English communication skills, including business writing skills
Presentation skills and ability through presentation (and daily conduct), to integrate with various audiences
IT Proficiency (general MS suites)
Minimum 7–10 years’ work experience in a similar position, with 3–5 years spent in the UAE
