Job description

The main purpose of the job is to sell freight services to target customers. The job exists to grow profitable revenue and meet specific company objectives by focusing on market penetration, customer retention, development and acquisition of new business, maintain credit control of credit clients, and gathering market information on projects and competitors to update the database. The job contributes towards achieving the target revenue of the department by creating a profitable relationship with existing clients and bringing in new customers.

  • Maintain existing client base and develop new clients
  • Achieve sales targets both in terms of revenue and volume
  • Develop and implement sales strategy to grow revenue
  • Select and target prospects new customers
  • Resolve problems through collaboration with local management team on issues regarding customers
  • Monitor and upgrade credit limits for existing and new clients
  • Maintain the ‘GAC Sales‘ database for prospects and current customers within territory
  • Achieve set financial target every month and follow up on outstanding
  • Self-development to enhance market and competitor knowledge

Job requirements


Educational Qualification Graduate, university degree

Professional Qualification Preferably, with UAE Driving License

Specialist Knowledge High level of Industry knowledge; High confidence levels in to communicate and convince the clients.

Communication / Language Excellent English communication skills

Computer Aptitude Proficient with MS Office and MS Outlook

Detailed Experience Levels Minimum 3-4 years of experience in similar role.

2 years of UAE experience.
