Job description


GAC Oman is looking for a dynamic sales representative with prior proven outside sales experience. This posting is full time employment. Representative must have prior relationships to be able to hit the road running and selling in Freight Forwarding Industry. The representative is expected to perform in a very fast-paced, business-to-business sales environment.


Job Description

    • Maintain existing client base and develop new clients to ensure continuous growth in sales.
    • Achieve sales targets both in terms of revenue and volume so as to maintain the high sales.
    • Develop and implement sales strategy to grow revenue, select and target prospective customers to ensure growth.
    • Maintain electronic information database ‘GAC Sales’ for prospects and current customers within territory so the database of customers is always updated.
    • Serve as a role model in upholding GAC Code of Ethics and GAC Sprit in the best interests of the company and the GAC Group.
    • Any other duties requested or delegated by manager to ensure the service level of the company is maintained.

Job requirements


    • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar role.
    • High level of industry knowledge
    • Good Work ethics to comply with policies and procedures of the company
    • Should have cultural awareness for working with people from various cultures and backgrounds.
    • Good English Communication Skills – both written and verbal. Arabic Language will be an advantage.
    • Proficient knowledge of computers especially in MS Office & Outlook in MS office, including good data entry skills.
