SALES AND MARKETING SPECIALIST-THESSALONIKI

Modern Freight S.A., a part of a Global Shipping Group handling freight forwarding activities of the Group in Greece, is seeking for a suitable candidate for the role of Sales & Marketing Executive position in MODERN FREIGHT SA - Thessaloniki branch office.

Role description:

• Grow working knowledge and understanding of international shipping / freight forwarding industry
• Identify new customers and focus on business development
• Successfully implement cold calling strategy, as well as one-on-one meetings with prospects, attend domestic exhibitions, etc.
• Achieve track record of selling international freight forwarding services
• Ensure customer’s operational needs are properly satisfied

• Prior Sales experience in transportation / shipping field will be considered a plus
• Personal commitment to gaining market know-how and creatively developing new business opportunities
• Ability to effectively communicate, follow-up, negotiate, build and maintain business relationships with customers
• Excellent command of the English language
• PC literacy (MS excel, ERP, web tools) are must-have skills
