Job description

GAC Abu Dhabi is seeking candidates for the position of Pricing Supervisor at their Guardian Towers Office in Abu Dhabi. The key responsibility is to develop and implement pricing strategies that enhance profitability.

Accountabilities

  • Negotiate and choose the appropriate airlines, shipping lines, local vendors and global agents that fits the service our clients are asking from GAC and provide our customers with the best solution & competitive rates
  • Ensure proper follow-up on time for all our quotes to proactively find out if there is a way to win the business by offering better rates or obtaining target rates from clients
  • Maintain accurate record of data quotation by updating the details on company system software
  • Oversee, lead and collaborate with the customer service team in pricing negotiations to enhance profitability, and accuracy in all pricing-related matters.
  • Manage, supervise, and ensure that the customer service team exceeds set KPIs and targets.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports as and when required by the Management and Sales team
  • Assist with budget preparation for the Logistics Sales department
  • Effectively price RFQs, tenders and should be able to work under time constraints
  • Price projects, events, breakbulk inquiries individually without direct supervision
  • Maintain strong reporting structure for various internal and external reports

Minimum Qualifications and Other Requirements:

  • Graduate of management-related courses
  • Proficient knowledge of computers especially in MS Office - Excel & Outlook
  • Good English communication skills – both written and spoken
  • Minimum 5 years’ extensive experience in same role
  • Good work ethic to comply with company policies and procedures
  • Cultural awareness to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
