Job description

Designation: Pricing Coordinator
Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka Office
Employment Type: Full-Time

What Would Your Day Look Like?

If appointed, you will source competitive freight and logistics rates from suppliers while preparing accurate quotations and proposals within agreed timelines. You will work closely with internal teams, clients and service providers to provide seamless coordination and excellent service. You will also be involved in maintaining pricing databases and customer records, monitoring market trends and competitor pricing, and identifying opportunities to enhance our commercial offerings. By leveraging your market knowledge and analytical skills, you will play a key role supporting the Commercial team to grow its revenue and achieve its business objectives.

Job requirements

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and submitting customer quotations and proposals.

  • Completing pricing requests within KPI timelines.

  • Negotiating and securing competitive supplier pricing.

  • Maintaining accurate customer and pricing databases.

  • Building profitable relationships with existing and prospective clients.

  • Adapting to changing business requirements and support team objectives.

 

What Are We Looking For?

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain operations.

  • Valid driving license preferred.

Other Skills

  • Excellent English communication skills.

  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint and Pricing & Customer Database Systems.

  • Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Presentation, selling, and influencing skills.

  • Ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
