GAC Bahrain is looking for candidates for the role of Pricing Coordinator to be based in Bahrain. Could it be you?

Handling enquiries for existing local customers on behalf of the sales team, negotiation rates with carriers, agents/origin offices, and update routing order upon business confirmation.

Quoting customers as per agreement with the respective salesperson.

Handling all LCL quotes (Import & Export) to local forwarders. Circulating our FOB tariff whenever updated.

All quotes should be done as per internal agreement and the container profitability sheet.

Quoting all our overseas partners for their DDU/DDP or DAP enquiries and all import enquires for international moving.

Constant interaction with partners for follow-up on each quotation. This includes building relationship with each partner. All quotes should be based on agreed tariffs.

Handling various freight tenders.

Job requirements

Educational Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

Professional Qualification : Candidates with a valid Bahrain Driving License will be preferred

Specialist Knowledge : Proficient with MS Office Applications (Excel and PowerPoint and ability to learn new software quickly.)

Communication / Language : Arabic, English

Computer Aptitude : Intermediate

Communication skills - able to interact and communicate effectively using the English language, both within and outside GAC
Prioritisation skills – necessary for daily multi-tasking between responsibilities
Keen attention to detail – required for daily tasks (filing, writing reports, communication, etc.)
Clerical competency – keen sense of administrative best practices to ensure high performance of duties
Professional appearance & presentation - necessary for the sales visits and important meetings.
