Job description

Designation: Power BI Developer

Location: Sri Lanka

Do you enjoy using your analytical skills to proactively solve problems? If your answer is ‘Yes’, you could be one we’re looking for to join our team in Sri Lanka as a Power BI Developer.

 

What Would Your Day Look Like?

If you join us in this role, you will play a key role in driving the organization's digital transformation initiatives. Your day will involve designing and developing interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, building and maintaining SQL databases, data models, and dataflows, and creating Power Apps and Power Automate solutions to streamline and automate business processes.

You will work closely with finance and operational teams to deliver accurate reporting and actionable insights, while also training users on Power Platform tools and best practices. You will also continuously enhance existing digital solutions, identify process improvement opportunities, and contribute to creating a more efficient, data-driven work environment.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing/maintaining Power BI dashboards, KPIs and reports.

  • Building and managing SQL-based data models and data sources.

  • Automating workflows using Power Automate and Power Apps.

  • Supporting month-end reporting and dashboard availability.

  • Participating in digital transformation initiatives.

  • Documenting solutions, processes and data flows.

  • Conducting user training and provide technical support.

What Are We Looking For?

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Commerce, or related field.

  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications preferred.

  • 1–5 years of experience in finance analytics, automation, reporting or digital transformation roles.

  • Strong understanding of finance processes and business analytics.
