Job description
Oversee daily shipping operational activities, ensuring seamless coordination with multiple stakeholders while effectively managing departmental P&L responsibilities
Job requirements
A minimum of 15 years’ proven experience in shipping agency services, with demonstrated expertise in people management.
Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage departmental P&L, meet KPIs, and deliver against defined targets and deadlines.
Proven capability to operate under pressure while maintaining focus on project milestones and deliverables.
Advanced skills in conflict management, with the ability to independently engage and negotiate with principals and senior stakeholders.
Exceptional leadership qualities with a high degree of self-motivation and accountability.
Comprehensive knowledge of international shipping operations and marine-related business practices.
Prior international work experience in diverse regions will be considered an asset.
Willingness to relocate to Guyana by Q1 2026 under a bachelor status package.
Professional credentials such as Membership in the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers or an equivalent degree in shipping/marine studies are preferred.
