GAC Bahrain is looking for candidates for the role of Move Coordinator to be based in Bahrain. Could it be you?

Coordinate and ensure smooth operation of air / sea / road shipments

Ensure professional service and agents worldwide

Arrange inspection and supervision in case of export cargo (personal effect)

Supervise to ensure everything goes smoothly to avoid delays

Coordinate all Personal Effects Plans to schedule DO collection, custom clearance delivery for import shipments, offloading, collecting of cargo, customs inspection, collection of AWBs / Bill of Ladings / Airway Bill for export shipments

Ensure jobs are done in a timely manner as per our clients’ and agents’ requirements

Monitor the entire clearance process and ensure timely delivery of shipments

Observe punctuality and meet given deadlines

Check accuracy of documents for clearance purposes, open job accordingly and process as per customer requirements (import, export, transit, etc.)

Minimize potential errors in documentation that might affect the company’s service level

Coordinate with Airport Office for clearance and delivery of airfreight shipment

Coordinate approvals from municipality for all kinds of items that are subject to approval of ministries prior to clearance

Liaise with ministries to ensure that approvals are received before proceeding with the job

Job requirements

Communication skills – ability to communicate within and outside GAC using the English language.

Computer knowledge - Basic knowledge of MS Office applications

Strong packing & moving industry background and product knowledge. Minimum 2-3 years of International Moving / Freight Sales experience, preferable in the M.E.
