Job description

Designation: Move Coordinator

Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

 

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong coordination and customer service skills to join our team in Colombo, Sri Lanka as a Move Coordinator. If you can manage moving operations efficiently while maintaining excellent client relationships and operational quality standards, you could be the one!

What Would Your Day Look Like?

If appointed, you will coordinate international moving operations, prepare and monitor quotations, and ensure smooth communication with overseas agents, clients, and internal teams. You will ensure all moving procedures are handled efficiently while maintaining GAC operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate international moving procedures and operational activities

  • Prepare destination rates and support quotation management

  • Monitor import files and ensure timely invoicing

  • Support export quote preparation and improve quotation conversion ratios

  • Conduct quality monitoring, reporting and site visits

  • Coordinate damage and missing claims with insurance brokers

  • Maintain communication with overseas agents and local clients

  • Support office administration and operational documentation

  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs and quality standards

 

What Are We Looking For?

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate or postgraduate qualification in Business Administration or equivalent

  • 4–8 years of experience in a similar industry with a customer service background

  • Strong understanding of operational coordination and customer service practices

Other Skills

  • Excellent English communication skills

  • Strong coordination and scheduling abilities

  • Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

  • Proficient in MS Office applications and quick to learn new systems
