Marketing & Communications Specialist

The Marketing & Communications Specialist is responsible for building relationships with potential and existing customers through social media networks, branding, and managing internal and external company events ensuring the company's sustained success and market visibility.

The job contributes towards increasing the company’s visibility and brand recognition in the market, which supports improving customers acquisition and customers’ retention.

Principal Job Accountabilities

Advertise the company and products and services through a range of media outlets 

Produce marketing material for the local company website/LinkedIn/Instagram

Continuously expand and search for best social media channels

Craft and send regular news updates and arrange publishing local newsletters with company updates

Prepare press release articles, plan interviews and press conferences

Coordinate the design of promotional material and manage internal promotional merchandise

Organise, manage and/or assist with internal and external company events maximising opportunities to promote company products and services.

Monitor corporate website and social media pages and address clients’ queries

Track ROI for marketing campaigns, and gather customer feedback

Network with industry experts and potential clients to drive brand awareness

• BSc in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or relevant field
• Proven work experience in a Marketing & Communications or similar role
• Experience organising marketing campaigns – such as company events, conferences, trade shows
• Experience with running marketing campaigns on social media
• Interest in latest marketing techniques and social media trends
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Hands-on experience with web content management tools
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Outgoing, social and engaging personality
• Multitasker, and quick problem solver
• Driving License
• Arabic an advantage
