Manager - Sales

GAC Shipping (India) Private Limited is looking for candidates for the role of Manager - Sales and Development, for our freight business to be based in Ahmedabad. Could it be you?

The main purpose of the job is to ensure a continued line of clients serviced, helping to generate revenue and thus contribute positively towards the P&L of the branch and company as a whole.

Key Tasks

• Sales - generate freehand business locally (all products - Air /Sea/ Projects /Customs Brokerage)
• Identity, target and bring on board potential Corporate Customers (all products)
• Maintain control of Account Receivables
• Trade lane development
• Focus on the chemicals industry and other major manufacturing companies
• Expand reach by focusing on other locations
• Take initiative for cross-selling
