Could you be our new Logistics Coordinator?

·         Location: Las Palmas

What will your day at GAC look like?

• Coordinate the clearance and delivery of commercial cargo shipments to and from offshore assets in Las Palmas.

• Check documentation accuracy

• Coordinate with government authorities and service providers throughout the process.

• Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, suppliers and port agents.

• Monitor shipments and follow up on operational requirements.

• Coordinate materials for customers’ port calls and projects.

What are we looking for?

1.       Experience: At least two years of proven experience in the logistics, port, maritime or energy sector, including operations coordination, maritime spares and documentation.

2.       Technical knowledge: Understanding of import and export processes, logistics coordination, local port protocols, and local, national and international shipping and logistics regulations.

3.       Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to plan, organize, work under pressure and follow up on operations.

4.       Languages: Fluent Spanish and intermediate to advanced English preferred.

5.       Other requirements: Availability to work rotating shifts or according to operational demands.
