Key Account Manager

GAC North America - Logistics is looking for candidates for the role of Key Account Manager to be based in Houston, Texas. Could it be you?

Job Description

• Maintain constant interaction with client to ensure account satisfaction.
• Prepare key performance indicators and reports per customer requirements on a timely basis.
• Ensure company policies are communicated, applied, and enforced, i.e., accounting, operational, regulatory, and administrative.
• Ensure the associates have proper access to the necessary tools to perform their assigned duties and that the tools are routinely inspected and maintained.
• Ensure compliance to regulatory policies in accordance with export and import procedures.
• Maximize quality and productivity by understanding job standards for each function and evaluating performance variances to identify root-cause and corrective action.
• Assist with duties related to daily activities within guidelines required to correctly process shipments in a cost-efficient manner within Company standards.
• Advocate adherence to agreed norms and procedures in relation to HSE and ISO standards,
• Adhere to company policies (HSSE, Compliance etc.)

Job Requirement

• High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years’ proven experience in freight forwarding industry with knowledge of energy sector
• Minimum three (3) years’ management experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think and respond quickly to customer service issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint), internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
