GAC Marine Logistics (GML) offers a total solution package of supply chain management and ship spares logistics services by combining our Group's know-how and global infrastructure. Our network of warehouses and logistics offices in key locations enables us to provide a reliable and cost-effective service all the way from the supplier’s door to on board vessels. All operations are supervised by the GML Control Towers.

 

We are now expanding our team and looking for a junior professional with coordination skills to join our Piraeus Control Tower. If you think outside the box and are not afraid to take initiatives, we would love to meet you.

 

Junior PO Handling Coordinator focused on Logistics

 

As a Junior PO Hander, you will follow up regarding the readiness of ship spares and coordinate with suppliers & our 3PL agents for their safe receipt. You will be supported in this task by the most senior members of our team and our in-house ERP platform.

  •        Communicate with suppliers and coordinate for safe collection/receipt of Purchase Orders

  •        Communicate with 3PL agents and coordinate for safe collection/receipt of Purchase Orders

  •        Issue Inventory Reports

 

Job Requirements

 

  •        Studies in Logistics and/or Shipping

  •        Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English, both verbally and in writing

  •        Ability to effectively use Office 365 applications
