GAC Shipping (India) Private Limited is looking for candidates for the role of Head of Sales and Development for our freight business, to be based in Mumbai. Could it be you?

The main purpose of the job is to develop, review, and ensure the sales targets of the department are met to ensure growth by providing guidance, training, and mentorship to the Sales Team.

Key Tasks

  • Sales Team management – Preparing total sales budget; monitoring & coordinating total sales activities within the Western Region (Maharashtra / Gujarat / Madhya Pradesh); identifying, targeting and bringing on board potential Corporate Customers (all products).
  • Contribute free hand business for all products- (Air/Sea/ Projects /Customs Brokerage/NVOCC) Trade lane development.
  • Identity, target & bring on board potential corporate customers as per set sales KPIs. Expand reach by focusing on other locations
  • Keep Accounts Receivable under control.
  • Trade Lane Development for selected trade lanes.
  • Development of Air Freight and NVOCC products in assigned regions.
