GAC Australia is looking for a candidate for the role of a Credit Controller Accounts Clerk to be based in SYDNEY.
Job Description
The main purpose of the job is to assist the Financial Accountant and Senior Accountant in the daily operations of accounts in Australia. Support the Financial Controller and MD as required.
The job exists to ensure the management of finance and customer relationships, particularly with suppliers and promote GAC Australia and the services of the wider GAC Group as appropriate.
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but will not be restricted to:
Credit Control Management
AR/AP experience
Timely accounting of Invoicing of Jobs
Reporting, reconciliation, and ad hoc duties
Internal/External Stakeholders communications
Adherence to Company procedures and policies and any regulatory requirements.
Use of In-house company software
Job requirements
To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and experience:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to work effectively with local and international partners and customers.
Ability to manage time effectively, with strong attention to detail.
Accurate data entry ability.
Computer proficiency, including MS Office (Intermediate to advanced level).
Ability to work independently in an open team environment
Previous local experience or knowledge of ship agency and logistics operations would be an advantage.
