Job Purpose:

As a DA Analyst, you will be responsible for the final scrutiny and processing of Disbursement Accounts (DA) in compliance with client requirements, global standards, and GDPR regulations. Your role will involve validating tariffs, agreements, and contractual rates, ensuring accurate cost calculations, and maintaining high-quality invoicing standards. You will also contribute to the company’s cost-saving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• FDA Processing: Achieve weekly targets by processing Final Disbursement Accounts (FDA) files and updating the FDA allocation file daily. Ensure accurate linkage of vouchers to services in accordance with procedures.

• FDA Queries and Follow-Up: Check FDAs thoroughly, handle queries from port agents or principals, and ensure timely resolution. Follow up on unresolved queries and escalate if necessary.

• FDA Balance Payments: Manage FDA balance payments, obtain exchange rates, and ensure recovery of outstanding balances. Coordinate with accounts and invoicing teams for proper resolution.

• Time Bar FDA’s: Prioritise and process time-barred FDAs promptly and send invoices to clients as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced Level

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in disbursement verification or cost item checks.

• Basic knowledge of shipping and accounts.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, PDF, Outlook, and other relevant software.

Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written).

Preferred Skills:

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Proactive and reliable with advanced planning and organisational skills.
