What would your day at GAC look like?
Handling & following up enquiries
Managing sales coordination for Sales/Projects & Energy departments by handling enquiries and regularly following up with clients regularly. Primary coordination between operations, customs clearance and front-end sales teams.
Coordinating pricing & quotations
Liaising with the pricing team for buying rates, preparing GF quotes, and sharing with clients. Continuous follow-up with customers to ensure business conversion.
Post-business coordination
Coordinating with agents and the operations team once business is secured to keep clients updated on shipment status. Sending quotation on behalf of the sales team and following up by telephone for business with customers.
Payment follow-up
Following up with clients for payment once shipments are completed.
Customer status updates
Providing timely, accurate import/export shipment (sea freight) status updates to customers and stakeholders at all critical milestones.
Job closure & financial accuracy
Verifying costs, revenues and billing details of shipments (air & sea) to ensure accurate and timely job closure within defined timelines.
Shipment coordination
Coordinating with customers, agents and internal teams to ensure seamless shipment handling and communication throughout the process
Job requirements
What are we looking for?
Education: Degree level
Experience: 2-5 years of experience in an equivalent role
Technical Skills: Good know-how of quotation preparation, knowledge of air & sea freight, good knowledge of shipping lines, airlines and services. MS Office suite – Word & Excel
4. Soft skills: Teamwork, communication, network development and attention to details, ready for challenges
