CUSTOMS CLERANACE CLERK (Grade 2-3 | Trinidad Nationals Only)

We are currently seeking a Customs Clearance Clerk to join our team with GAC Caribbean. As a Customs Clearance Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient clearance of goods through customs, in compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process customs documentation for import and export shipments
  • Coordinate with customs officials and other relevant parties to ensure timely clearance of goods
  • Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of customs transactions
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to customs clearance

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a good understanding of customs regulations. Previous experience in customs clearance or a related field is preferred.

  • Grade 2-3 level license is must !! 
  • Good understanding on air fright & sea freight, ship spares & delivery procedures. 
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in shipping / freight forwarding.
  • Based in San Fernando office / when needed to attend outside work.
