Job description

Designation - Customer Service Support Executive

Location - Colombo, Sri Lanka

 

We are looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented professional with strong communication and coordination skills to join our team in Sri Lanka as a Customer Service Support.

If you are proactive, commercially aware and capable of managing multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced logistics environment, it could be you!

 

What Would Your Day Look Like?

If appointed, you will play a key role in supporting GAC sales and logistics operations in Abu Dhabi by managing pricing requests, preparing quotations, coordinating with overseas agents, carriers and vendors, and ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide commercial and operational support, maintain accurate pricing records and ensure compliance with company procedures while delivering exceptional customer service.

Job requirements

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing daily pricing inquiries and quotation requests.

  • Preparing accurate quotations using approved tariffs and rate sheets.

  • Coordinating with carriers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing.

  • Ensuring compliance with SOPs, documentation requirements and company policies.

  • Supporting shipment follow-ups and operational coordination.

  • Maintaining pricing databases, inquiry trackers and management reports.

  • Liaison with overseas agents, customers and internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery.

 

What Are We Looking For?

Qualifications & Experience

  • High School or University Graduate.

  • Good knowledge of logistics and freight forwarding operations.

  • Strong understanding of customer service and pricing processes.

  • Experience in logistics shipping, or customer service operations will be considered and added advantage.
