Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for daily communication and solicitation to manage specific customer(s)/customer base in a region. They will enhance customer relations, manage client commitments, solicit customer base, maintain accurate customer profiles and coordinate customer issues with partners. This role helps generate freight and future business by maintaining good understanding of our customers' business and monitoring their changing needs, to enable us to meet and exceed their customer service expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a professional and ethical working relation with clients and colleagues
Monitor and manage commitments, and communicate with customers in potential service situations
Liaise with internal departments & overseas offices and partners on any customer issues.
Develop customer rapport through regular communication
Develop and enhance your market and competitor knowledge
Maintain up-to-date purchase order tracking records through GAC Marlog
Provide closed job file for billing
Solicit customer base, to maximize shipment volumes
Job requirements
Requirements
Graduate, Bachelor’s degree
Excellent communication skills in English
Knowledge of MS Office
