At GAC Cargo System Sdn Bhd, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Customer Service Representative to be based in Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya, to deliver exceptional customer service, and support the expansion of our business.
Duties include:
Manage existing customer accounts through timely, professional communication
Handle customer enquiries, service requests and operational updates
Track and trace shipments
Accurate, timely data entry into internal operating systems and third-party platforms
Verify job cost allocations, provisions and billing information to ensure invoicing accuracy
Coordinate submission of documentation for invoice preparation, e-billing and dispatch
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational and financial reports
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company procedures
Ensure compliance with customs, port, airport, and international trade regulations
Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and service quality
Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth logistics operations
Job requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Shipping or a related field
At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in customer service, logistics or freight forwarding
Experience in logistics, shipping or freight forwarding operations is an advantage
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, in written and spoken communication
Office-based role; commute to Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya, required
Required Skills and competencies
Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
