Customer Service Executive, Ship Spares Logistics

Job description

  • The incumbent will handle daily operations to provide the highest level of customer service and maintain excellent relationship with customers through efficient and effective coordination of all operational and customer service department activities.
  • Coordinate closely with Customer Service team, Operation Manager, Operational Team and Sales team. Ensure clients’ scope of work is carried out within the specified time frames and notify Operations / Customer Service Manager and Sales team of any client requests.
  • Interact with customers in a professional manner and ensure information on shipment operational status is promptly relayed to the customers.
  • Attend to customer requests & queries and work closely with the Operations and Sales teams/Manager to promptly investigate and resolve any complaints/problems.
  • Maintain and ensure proper documentation for easy retrieval of information required.
  • Ensure all internal records for general forwarding jobs are accurately updated on a timely basis and job invoices are processed and dispatched on time.
  • Ensure Customer Service Standards Guide and Company Service Delivery procedures associated to Customer Services, Operations and Invoicing are always complied with.
  • Actively seek feedback from clients and promptly relay customer feedback to Customer Service Manager and QA.
  • Correspond with agents & clients regarding operational requests / issues.
  • Carry out all other activities as assigned by superiors.
  • To perform other jobs as assigned by superior.

Job requirements

  • Minimum “O” Levels or Diploma in Logistics discipline or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years’ work experiences in logistics, preferably in a customer service
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Proactive attitude towards clients and staff.
  • Ability to communicate well with all stakeholders.
  • High integrity and strong commitment.
  • Good knowledge of documentation of import/export procedures with interest in continuous learning.
  • Skilled in customer service and administration.
  • Good team player and yet able to work independently
