Customer Service Executive, Marine Logistics

Job description

The incumbent will handle daily operations in providing freight solutions to customers and ensuring the ship spares are delivered promptly to vessels. He or she will communicate with agents, customers, maintain records, ensure timely closing and billing of files. The role requires maintaining good relationships with customers, increasing customer service proficiency and keeping the customer updated on shipment status to ensure customer satisfaction.

Job requirements

  • Preferably Diploma in Freight Forwarding / Logistics or similar
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the related field, including logistics cross trade activities, required
  • Knowledge in marine logistics for both sea and air freight will be an added advantage
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and handle high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment
  • Applicants must be willing to be contactable and work after office hours.
  • Good inter-personal skills and customer-focused attitude.

  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Competent in Microsoft Office
