Customer service and Documentation - Executive

• Prepare, release and manage shipping documents viz. IGM, IAL, Import Delivery Order, as per line requirement.

• Coordinate with agents, Liners, Customers over email.

• Checking correctness of HBL & MBL

• Preparation of Import Manifest as per SCMTR and Import Advance List, Export Advance list etc.

• Filling IGM in Odex as per line requirements.

• Issuing Arrival Notice to customer.

• Preparing invoices.

• Manage daily operational activities for liner trade

• Coordinate with VOA, Terminals, Liner to ensure smooth loading and unloading of liner units.

• Provide regular updates to customers on shipment status, potential delays etc.

• Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting for all operational and financial activities

• Knowledge of liner activities/formalities for documentation & requirements of Terminals / Customs Income Tax etc.

• Adequate knowledge of Documentation activities for handling liner activities at Gujarat ports independently

• Well versed with various formalities of Customs / Terminals

1.       Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.

2.       Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding industry as Documentation and Customer Service

3. Knowledge on operational handling of liner containers at Gujarat terminals

4. Knowledge on import and export manifestation

5. Strong communication skills and Interpersonal skills

6. Computer proficiency

7.       Technical Skills:

                                                               i.      Knowledge in handling liner activities/formalities for documentation & requirements of Terminals / Customs Income Tax etc.

                                                             ii.      Good English communication - written/oral

                                                            iii.      Knowledge of ISO Tank, Haz cargo, FCL, LCL, & Air Shipments
