We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our energy initiatives as Andhika GAC (AGAC) Indonesia’s Head of Energy, based in Jakarta and Batam. If you're ready to turn vision into reality, you could be the ideal candidate to join our global team.

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for marketing & development of commercial energy-related activities and managing operations for a smooth delivery of related shipping, logistics and marine services.

Prepare and lead a team of highly experienced and committed team members dedicated to the energy sector. Proactively drive the respective functions commercially and ensure operational excellence, as well as growth and viability of the functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the vertical’s profit and loss.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Contribute to the creation and implementation of strategy, action plan, policies, processes and procedures to provide excellent performance operationally, commercially viable for clients and profitable for AGAC.
• Pro-actively seek out new business opportunities whilst identifying opportunities for growth within existing business.
• Manage operations and ensure effective execution within stipulated level agreements with customers and internal KPIs.
• Plan, manage and evaluate services with internal stakeholders and partners/suppliers, against customer satisfaction levels.
• Be directly involved on operational issues as point of contact for customers.
• Resolve issues concerning operations.
• Responsible for budgeting for the respective verticals.
• Participate fully in bids, RFQs and commercial requirements with planning and execution.
• Monitor and control expenses.
• Ensure good cash management with smooth flow towards advances and payments.
• Lead a team with a view to motivate and train people for future growth.
• Address staff issues and, if required, work with the Human Resource department for amicable resolutions and solutions.
• Ensure team meets agreed work and business objectives.
• Review and assess performance of direct reports.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders (internal and external) which relate to the logistics process.
• Develop cordial relationship with vendors.
• Be involved in audits (internal and external).
• Ensure quality across the board.
• Investigate audit findings and identify possible additional actions required to eliminate or reduce the likelihood of recurrence.

Job Requirement

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any field or Maritime Institute.

• Professional Certification towards Shipping, Energy/O&G activities.

• Minimum 5 years in similar position/industry.

• Knowledge of ship agency management.

• Good communication skills in both Bahasa and English.

• Ability to work within a team, collaborate, be honest in work, and have a high sense of responsibility.

• Good health.

• Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills, including operational planning, vendor management, technical evaluations, and solutions.

Specialist Knowledge

• Energy/O&G processes and procedures for rig movements and campaigns.

• Import and Export operations – freight movements (Air/Sea/Road).

• Ship agency services.
