Job description
Primarily responsible for providing efficient administrative and sales support to the managements. Responsible for providing efficient administration support to Logistics sales and carrying out indoor sales activities such as tele sales, CRM (client relationship Management) and maintaining close follow-up on quotation. Work closely with the sales team in implementing sales strategies and to increase GAC Logistics presence within the Malaysia Market.
Job Description
1.Prepare various reports and administration as required by the company management
Generating sales activities and others reports, analyzing and present to the management on week/monthly/yearly basis
2.Carry out telesales to promote GAC services and follow up for business opportunity
-To do minimum 60 sales call per month
3. Sales Lead Management (abroad and local)
Generating, recording, monitoring and follow up sales lead received, and sales lead sent abroad and locally on monthly basis
4.Shipment Volume Analysis
To prepare and analysis GAC Malaysia Sea/air shipment volume report on monthly basis
5.Developing Consolidation Shipments
Based on the shipment volume report, analysis the chances of building our own sea consol box, preparing cost analysis on building GAC Malaysia own consol box
6.Preparing quotation and closely follow-up on all the quotation till closure and carry out monthly inquiry log analysis
CIF terms- Quotation to be responded within 24 hours
DDP/ DDU terms to APAC – Quotation to be responded within 24 hours
DDP/DDU terms to Europe /US Quotation to be responded within 48 hours
Tender/RFQ to be responded according to the submission dateline.
7. G2G and G2A Origin and Freight Pricing
Updating the selected countries follow by other countries pricing on monthly and quarterly basis.
Alert by providing briefing to the sales and business support team on the updated pricing.
Job requirements
Minimum Advance Diploma / Degree Holder in Logistics & Management or similar field
Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in the freight forwarding industry
English & Bahasa Malaysia (Writing & Speak), Mandarin (Optional)
Microsoft Office
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position is desirable
