Principle Job Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will further develop logistics business by hunting for new clients. While their focus should be at least minimum 75% on Events and Sports Logistics, they should also be able to sell and develop other products from GAC Singapore’s Logistics portfolio.
Specialisation and focus under the Events & Sports logistic vertical:
• Events - music touring, live events, entertainment, corporate roadshows
• Brand activation, experimental events, in-house company events and product launches
• Live sporting events, broadcasting and production
As part of their duties, he/she will promote Logistics Services through commercial activities such as sales call visits (locally & overseas), conduct telemarketing to develop the business and be actively involved in CRM activities with the objective of customer retention and loyalty.
The successful candidate will also provide support to prepare, submit and follow-up on quotations and meet sales KPI and targets. As a member of the Commercial team, he/she will gather and analyse logistics market information to contribute to the success of the team and the division. He/she should be able to cross-sell other GAC services when such opportunity arises.
The ideal candidate would be dynamic, a great hunter, results-oriented to achieve targets and KPIs, and have solid experience in business development for Events and Sports Logistics. Other competencies include effective communication skills for negotiation and presentation, driven and able to self-motivate, good commercial acumen, effective task prioritisation and effective interpersonal skills.
