Business Development Manager

Location: Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya HQ

The Role
This role requires strong market knowledge, customer focus, and the ability to turn opportunities into long term partnerships. If appointed, you will be the key sales driver for our logistics services, by identifying, developing and growing business opportunities. in our Logistics department.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Actively acquiring and growing new customers for logistics services, including Sea Freight, Air Freight, Road Freight, and Oil & Gas (Energy) logistics solutions.

  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets and business development KPIs.

  • Building, maintaining and strengthening relationships with customers, suppliers, key stakeholders and sales team.

  • Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities. 

  • Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to maximize revenue and leverage internal resources.

  • Assisting in the preparation of proposals and quotations.

  • Collaborating with operations and internal teams to ensure seamless service.

 
Strong preference will be given to candidate with
sea, air, road forwarding backgrounds.

 

Job requirements

What we’re looking for

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, minimum Diploma in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related disciplines.

  • At least 5 years’ experience in Business Development, ideally in logistics.

 

Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite 

  • Results‑driven and target‑oriented

  • Proven track record of measurable sales achievements

  • Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
