Job description

 Develop new customers and create gross profit

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across all service lines, including air freight, sea freight, projects, customs brokerage, NVOCC, ship agency, and husbandry.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends and potential customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and timely collections.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries.

 Customer Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and address service delivery issues promptly.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service.

Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations

  • Create quotations according to guidelines and promptly follow up with potential customers.

 Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, setting targets and motivating them to achieve sales goals.
  • Collaborate with internal and overseas teams to pass on sales leads.
  • Liaise with GAC offices and Group Marketing-Energy teams for seamless operations.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/Shipping, Business Administration, Marketing, International Business or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Logistics/Shipping Business Development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in English – spoken and written.
