What would your day at GAC look like?

Branch Revenue & Profitability

Driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients, optimizing pricing, and ensuring cost efficiency. Focus on securing high-value clients (₹2.5L+ revenue) and achieving monthly financial targets.

Market Intelligence & Strategic Growth

Analyzing industry trends, competitor strategies, and customers’ needs to refine business approaches. Aligning market insights with branch objectives

Customer & Vendor Relationship Management

Maintaining strong relationships with clients and service providers to ensure favorable terms, service quality, and long-term partnerships.

Cost Optimization

Implementing cost-saving strategies, vendor negotiations, process automation etc. Ensuring financial efficiency in operations.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

Guiding and mentoring the team, ensuring alignment with business goals and enhancing productivity. Encouraging high performance and accountability.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Mitigation

Ensuring adherence to local and international regulations, minimizing legal and operational risks. Implementing best practices in compliance

Operational & Service Excellence

Ensuring seamless freight operations, timely service, and process improvements for better efficiency. Enhancing customer satisfaction through proactive issue resolution.

Outstanding Payments & Credit Control

Monitoring outstanding receivables and enforcing credit controls to ensure timely collections and maintain healthy cash flow. Proactively mitigating risk of bad debts.

Job requirements

What are we looking for?

  1. Education: Degree level

  2. Experience: 15 years’ experience in Freight Forwarding industry, at least 8-10 of which should be in managing branch operations, leading a team and driving branch profit and loss (P & L)

  3. Technical Skills: Industry knowledge with strong understanding of Freight Forwarding operations (Air & Sea – Import/Export), Customs clearance procedures, international trade practices, documentation, invoice processing, GST and local compliance requirements.

  4. MS Office suite – Word & Excel
