GAC North America is on the lookout for motivated, reliable, and team-oriented individuals to join our Philadelphia office as a Boarding Agent.

What You’ll Do:

  • Attend vessels and handle all operational matters in line with GAC’s Quality Management System.

  • Respond to inquiries and support our principals with professional, timely communication.

  • Coordinate vessel arrivals with port personnel, including pilots, tugs, line handlers, terminal operators, and government authorities.

  • Manage all communications during vessel activities, keeping principals, owners/operators, and port personnel fully updated.

  • Prepare and complete required documentation, including government forms and company reports such as the Statement of Facts.

Job requirements

YOU MUST LIVE IN THE UNITED STATES and near the Philadelphia, PA AREA IN ORDER TO APPLY.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with relevant work experience preferred.

  • Maritime experience preferred.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills. Capable of following up and completing tasks in a timely manner. Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Able to function independently and as part of a team. Must be self-motivated and be able to perform primary job functions unsupervised and in accordance with the SOPs.

  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to think and respond quickly to customer service issues.

  • Eligible to work in the United States (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident).

  • Must be a live near to Philadelphia, PA area.
