Designation: Billing Coordinator

Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

 

Are you a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple billing activities and deadlines, strong communication and stakeholder management skills and a problem-solving mindset?
If so, you could be the person we want to join us as a Billing Coordinator based in Sri Lanka.

 

What Would Your Day Look Like?

If you join us in this role, you will manage the end-to-end billing process for tanker vessel operations, ensuring invoices are prepared accurately and submitted on time. You will also coordinate with operations teams, customers and suppliers, review documentation, resolve billing queries, monitor fund receipts, and support smooth financial operations while working closely with GAC’s teams in Saudi Arabia.

Job requirements

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing/issuing Final Disbursement Accounts (FDA) for tanker vessel operations.

  • Coordinating with customers and operations teams to resolve billing discrepancies.

  • Reviewing, approving and processing supplier invoices.

  • Ensuring all charges are billed accurately and in line with agreed tariffs.

  • Monitoring advance fund receipts and following up on outstanding payments.

  • Submitting invoices, accrual reports, and maintaining accurate billing records.

  • Supporting billing activities across multiple Saudi Arabian ports.

 

What Are We Looking For?

Qualifications & Experience

  • Pre-University or Graduate qualification.

  • Knowledge of billing, accounting and the logistics, energy or shipping industry.

  • Experience with billing processes and financial documentation is preferred.

  • Good written and spoken English communication skills.

Other Skills

  • Advanced MS Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

  • Knowledge of GAC Agent and EyeShare systems.

  • Computer literacy and data management skills.

  • Planning, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
