Assistant Manager, Shipping

GAC Shipping (India) Private Limited is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Manager, Shipping - to be based in Surat. Could it be you?

The main job purpose is to ensure the seamless and efficient handling of vessels at the port. Overseeing the vessel operations at GAC branch in Surat (Gujarat) and assist the team.

This role also involves activities relating to coordination with customs, port authorities & principals

The role requirements are:

• Knowledge and hands on experience in managing vessel / port related statutory and legal aspects

• Managing various types of cargo

• Managing port related notifications and regulations

• Fair understanding of customs procedures, port terminal operations, and communication with various parties and stakeholders.

• Good knowledge and hands - on experience in port and customs applications and websites.
