Accounts Executive General

We are looking for an Accounts Executive – General to join our team and help ensure accurate and timely billing for our contract logistics operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring financial information is processed correctly. 

You will be responsible for billing, reconciliations, payment follow-ups, and resolving billing-related queries while working closely with operational and customer-facing teams.

What will your day at GAC look like? 

• Manage the end-to-end billing and invoicing process ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.  

• Verify billing information across relevant systems, review financial records, reconcile outstanding transactions, and ensure charges are correctly allocated and billed. 

• Calculate charges based on applicable tariffs, including customs duties and delay-related charges, and prepare invoices and supporting documentation. 

• Monitor open transactions and ensure that they are processed within the prescribed timelines. 

• Support payment collection activities by assisting with customer follow-ups and helping resolve billing disputes and invoice-related queries. 

• Work closely with relevant stakeholders to identify and resolve data-related matters. 

• Prepare regular and ad hoc financial and operational reports  

What are we looking for? 

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related accounting or finance discipline. 

• Minimum two years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role. Experience with billing, invoicing, reconciliations, and accounts receivable is an advantage. Previous UAE experience is also an advantage. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, and a working knowledge of accounting software. 

• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. 

• Strong numerical and analytical abilities, with the capability to identify discrepancies and review financial information accurately. 

• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
