Accountant with Shipping background / Buchhalter Schifffahrt (m/w/d)

Could you be our new Ship Agent?

·         Location: Hamburg, Germany office.

·         Reporting to: Managing Director

·         Department / Team: Shipping

·         Employment Type: Full time

·         Travel requirements: None

·         Key Tech/Tools: Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft office programs, as well as GAC Internal Systems

What would your day at GAC look like?

·         Processing final Disbursement Accounts in our systems

·         Validating costs from port service providers, such as Port Authorities and hotels

·         Preparing invoices for shipowners, operators and charterers

·         Maintaining contact with internal departments and clients across the globe

·         Review, Analyse and follow up the Ageing with Principals

What are we looking for?

1.       Education: Completed vocational school with a focus on Accounting

2.       Experience: At least 1 year in Invoicing

3.       Language Skills: Expert in German (written & verbal); Very good English (written and verbal)
