Job Description: Accountant (Shipping & Logistics) at GAC

We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Administration & Management department at GAC. As an Accountant (Shipping & Logistics), you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate financial reporting for our shipping and logistics operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements for our shipping and logistics division.
  • Monitoring and reconciling various jobs related to shipping & logistics areas  
  • Closing working with various departments to ensure daily activities are updated in shipping & logistics systems. 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Weekly coordination with teams to ensure government stakeholders, Taxes, regulations are completed.  

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in accounting, experience in the shipping and freight forwarding industry is must ! You must also possess excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
