Role: Shorex Operations Coordinator
Location: Bergen, Norway
We are expanding into the shore excursion market in Norway and in preparation for the 2026 summer season, we are building a dedicated operations team to support newly secured cruise contracts. This role offers the opportunity to join this growing business area, combining structured operational work with hands‑on coordination during live cruise calls. If appointed, you will play a key part in ensuring reliable, well‑organised shore excursion operations, working closely with suppliers, guides and internal teams.
The Job

· Employment Type: Fulltime, Permanent
· Travel requirements: Some local driving should be expected

What would your day at GAC look like?
· Monitor and update bookings to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations
· Coordinate daily confirmations with suppliers and partners
· Adjust transport and guide allocations in collaboration with the wider operations team
· Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date operational run sheets and documentation
· Support the team in managing last‑minute changes in a structured and solution‑oriented way
· Follow up with suppliers to ensure agreed services and timelines are met
· Provide on‑site presence and coordination at the pier, supporting dispatch and operational activities
Job requirements
What are we looking for?
· Education: No set criteria, but hospitality, logistics or other relevant education may be an advantage
· Experience: Some relevant experience in hospitality or industry may be an advantage
· Technical Skills: Microsoft365
· License: Driver’s license is a requirement
· Language: English is a requirement; Norwegian may be an advantage
· Structured and detail‑oriented, with a focus on accuracy
· Calm and adaptable in a fast‑paced operational environment
· Proactive and solution‑oriented, with a sense of ownership
· Comfortable coordinating with multiple suppliers and stakeholders
· Reliable and able to work independently after structured onboarding
