2025 Stavanger Warehouse Operator

About the Position

We are looking to fill a permanent position at our warehouse in Stavanger. This position will include a combination of warehouse related tasks, including driving a forklift, and logistics related tasks, and you will be working in our warehouse each day.

We are preferably looking for someone with experience working in a warehouse but may consider a candidate with logistics or similar relevant background who is motivated by the opportunity to learn.

Due to the requirements of the position, we can only consider candidates that are able to be at the warehouse daily. Some adjustments may be possible to support personal challenges, but the job does involve manually handling smaller packages, driving a forklift, driving a car, and significant interactions with others.

Daily Tasks

After training, you will support operations and company strategy while performing the following tasks:

• Retaining overview of goods in the warehouse

• Packing, stuffing, labeling, and securing of packages

• Driving the forklift (coursing may be provided for those who do not have a forklift license)

• Delivery and collection of goods to/from vessels

• Local transport collection and delivery of goods

• Preparing shipments for delivery/forwarding

• Accurately registering information in and out of our data systems

• Checking documentation to ensure it is correct

• Creating documentation as relevant

• Coordinating with colleagues, suppliers, and customers by phone and email

• Cooperating with colleagues at all levels of the organisation to provide quality service

• Planning and following up on your tasks

• Other practical, administrative, and logistics related tasks as you develop in the role

Other Job details

• Most tasks can be completed during regular work hours; however, we provide 24/7/365 service and there will be periods of higher workload as well as work during irregular times
